Guard Chennedy Carter, 27, the No. 4 overall pick by the Atlanta Dream in the 2020 draft out of Texas A&M, has been waived by the Aces, the team announced on Tuesday, after she played in 13 of Las Vegas' 21 games, averaging 12.2 points.

While the Las Vegas Aces still remain as one of the top teams in the WNBA, that did not stop them from making some modifications to their roster.

Well, this caught us by surprise.

Justine Pissott was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 25 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 WNBA Draft. Although Pissott has yet to appear in a regular-season game for Indiana, the 6-foot-4 guard appeared in a 2026 WNBA preseason game, a 109-91 win over the New York Liberty on April 25. Pissott played 10 minutes, scoring eight points and securing one rebound and one assist.

This is a tricky part of WNBA contract rules.
