It's a busy week for the Las Vegas Aces, who play four road games in seven days, including a back-to-back pair in Minnesota on Saturday and then New York a day later. The Aces will have to make the nearly 1,200-mile trek to face the Liberty less than 24 hours after facing the No. 1 team in the league — the Lynx. Minnesota also has a back-to-back this weekend, but it's home for both games.

Plum, sidelined since June 21 with a leg injury, was sent to the Phoenix Mercury late Saturday night. The Sparks are now 3-9 without Plum. Ogwumike hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:25 to play, making it 98-96.

The Sparks are trading five-time All-Star Kelsey Plum to the Mercury for Monique Akoa Makani, a 2027 first-round pick and a 2028 second-rounder, sources told ESPN.

The Los Angeles Sparks may be without one of their key players in Sunday afternoon's game against the Portland Fire.
