The Oklahoma City Thunder overwhelmed the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals to take a 3-2 series lead.

The New York Knicks are playing in their first NBA Finals in 27 years, where they'll meet either the Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs.

Now Wembanyama has to be the best player on the court in back-to-back games or the Spurs season ends.

The Spurs turned in a disappointed performance in OKC on Tuesday night.

Alex Caruso sparked another big effort from the bench Tuesday night. Caruso scored 22 points and was 4 of 8 on 3-pointers to help Oklahoma City — down two starters — to a 127-114 victory over San Antonio in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals. The bench rotation wasn't the same for the Thunder in Game 5; Jared McCain moved into the starting lineup and scored 20 points.

Game 6 is Thursday in San Antonio. If there's a Game 7, it'll be back in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
