The Boston Celtics are converting John Tonje from a Two-Way deal to a standard 10-day contract. Tonje hasn't appeared in an NBA game yet. In 35 G League games this season, Tonje is averaging 18.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 30.4 minutes. Tonje was the 53rd overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft out of Wisconsin by the Utah Jazz. Tonje was traded by the Jazz to the Celtics at the deadline.
