The Dallas Mavericks have picked up their 2027-28 rookie scale team option for Cooper Flagg. This was the third-year option for Flagg. As he enters his second season, Flagg has already emerged as the Mavericks franchise player. Teams have until Monday, November 2 to pick up rookie scale team options for next season. That deadline is normally October 31, but because that date falls on a weekend this year, it moves back to November 2.
