Candace Parker, Elena Delle Donne and Cheryl Reeve -- who headline this year's Women's Basketball Hall of Fame class -- agreed Friday that the WNBA needs to do a better job protecting its players and cracking down on excessive contact.
Candace Parker’s basketball journey has come full circle. It started when she led Tennessee to two national championships then continued in the WNBA where she was part of three titles and won two MVP awards. Parker will be inducted Saturday night into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Candace Parker and Elena Delle Donne, former rivals who each won two WNBA MVP awards, and Cheryl Reeve, who has won four titles as head coach, were enshrined in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.
