WNBA, Players Association Enter Status Quo Period As CBA Deadline Passes Friday
The WNBA and players association will not reach a collective bargaining agreement before Friday's deadline and will enter a "status quo" period maintaining the current CBA. WNBPA vice president Breanna Stewart confirmed Thursday the sides remain far apart on key issues but will continue negotiating in good faith.
