Taj Gibson and the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a contract. Gibson becomes the 35th player in NBA history to play after the age of 40. Gibson, who is represented by Mark Bartelstein , appeared in 37 games last season with the Charlotte Hornets. Gibson averaged 2.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 11.1 minutes. The Grizzlies are out of the playoff picture, but Gibson gives the team a veteran presence.
