  The Phoenix Suns are expected to waive guard Cole Anthony. The Suns acquired Anthony, along with Amir Coffey, in a salary-clearing trade that sent Nick Richard to the Chicago Bulls and Nigel Hayes-Davis to the Milwaukee Bucks. Phoenix has a deep backcourt and playing time would be hard to come by for Anthony. Waiving the veteran guard would allow him to catch on with another team that can offer him a rotation role.
