Westchester Knicks Acquire Elfrid Payton's G League Rights From Spurs
The Westchester Knicks acquired the returning player rights to guard Elfrid Payton from the Austin Spurs. Westchester sent its 2026 second-round pick in the NBA G League Draft, originally from the Valley Suns, to Austin in the deal. Payton was in training camp with the Sacramento Kings this preseason but was waived. Payton last played in the NBA during the 2024-25 regular season.
