Walter Clayton Jr. has a good chance to survive the Memphis Grizzlies' upcoming roster cuts, according to reporting from Jake Fischer. Memphis must reduce its roster from 19 standard contracts to 15 before Opening Night Eve on Oct. 19, putting players such as Jordan Hawkins, Kris Murray and Micah Peavy at varying levels of risk. The strong belief is that D'Angelo Russell is the veteran most likely to be released by Memphis. The Grizzlies acquired Russell as part of the six-team trade in July....
