Those […] The post NBA Odds: 4 New-Look Teams to Watch in 2026-27 appeared first on TalkBasket.net.

They had a surprisingly good 2025-26 campaign, finishing with a 42-40 record and even securing the seventh seed in the playoffs, and they added talent to their […] The post Blazers’ Ja Morant is already looking good in scrimmage with new teammates appeared first on ClutchPoints.

Damian Lillard raised some eyebrows early in training camp when he said that he expects to start alongside Ja Morant in the Trail Blazers’ backcourt this fall. The Portland Trail Blazers have a tough decision to make whether to start Damian Lillard or Ja Morant to occupy the point guard spot for the 2026-27 NBA season, but we might have an answer.

Maybe, just maybe, Morant could be the piece that helps Portland take the next step.

It’s been quite a week for the Trail Blazers. So perhaps inviting everyone over to watch Damian Lillard and Ja Morant play basketball isn’t the worst idea. With Damian Lillard set to return from injury and Ja Morant being added to the mix following an offseason trade, the Portland Trail Blazers' starting backcourt going into the 2026-27 NBA season is still being decided upon.

These NBA players still look strange in their new uniforms.

Ja Morant is embracing a different role with the Portland Trail Blazers, saying playing alongside Damian Lillard has allowed him to become less ball-dominant and unlock new ways to create offense. Morant spoke to reporters Wednesday after the second day of Portland’s training camp and discussed his early chemistry with Lillard and the rest of […] The post Ja Morant enjoying less ball-dominant role alongside Damian Lillard appeared first on TalkBasket.net.

The Trail Blazers are looking at big changes in their starting lineup this year, as they seek to incorporate Damian Lillard and Ja Morant while also learning new head coach Micah Nori’s system. The Trail Blazers aren’t rebuilding anymore. At least they sure don’t look like it. Portland won 42 games last season and returned to the playoffs. Then it added Ja Morant, welcomed Damian Lillard back and handed the whole thing to new coach Micah Nori. So, yeah. Expectations have changed.
