Charania reported that the Milwaukee Bucks have made counteroffers to teams who made aggressive offers for Antetokounmpo. Luka Doncic and Jaylen Brown have been named the NBA's Players of the Month for January. Doncic averaged 34.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 9.1 assists as the Los Angeles Lakers went 9-7. Doncic ranked second in the NBA in PER for the month . Brown averaged 29.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists as the Boston Celtics went 10-6. Brown had a PER of just 19.5 in January compared to 27.2 in December.

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy (AP) — Lindsey Vonn is “confident” she can compete at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics beginning this week despite the left knee injury she sustained in a crash four days ago. Vonn said on Tuesday she “completed ruptured” her ACL, has bone bruising “plus meniscal damage.” Vonn crashed in a downhill in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, on Friday and ended up in the safety nets.
