The Dallas Mavericks are exploring ways to keep Dwight Powell on the roster heading into this season, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line. The 35-year-old signed a one-year, partially guaranteed deal with the Mavs last week. The Mavs currently have the maximum of 15 standard contracts on the roster.
