The world's tallest college basketball player is on the move. Florida's Olivier Rioux, a 7-foot-9 center from Canada and the most popular athlete on campus, announced Tuesday he is entering the transfer portal. Rioux played sparingly in two years with the Gators, redshirting as a true freshman during the team's national championship season and then getting on the court in mop-up duty this past season.

Kentucky is targeting Mo Williams to join Mark Pope's staff as an assistant coach, sources told Jeff Borzello of ESPN. Williams is currently the head coach of Jackson State. There is mutual interest on both sides, with a deal expected to be finalized. Williams' son, Mason, committed to Kentucky last week. Pope has already lost Jason Hart from his staff to SMU. Alvin Brooks III is also not returning as an assistant.
NC State is expected to hire former player Justin Gainey as its next head coach, according to ESPN. The 49-year-old has spent the last five seasons as an assistant with Tennessee. Gainey will replace Will Wade, returned to LSU after one season with the program. Gainey has also previously served as an assistant at Elon, Appalachian State, Santa Clara, Arizona and Marquette.
