Garrett Temple accepted an offer to join Dusty May's coaching staff with the Dallas Mavericks as an assistant, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line. Temple appeared in 22 games for the Raptors last season. Temple joins Willie Green as an assistant on May's staff.

Trey Lyles and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a one-year deal. Lyles last played in the NBA in 2025 for the Sacramento Kings and played for Real Madrid last season.
