Brittney Griner and the Connecticut Sun suffered their sixth loss in the last seven games on Thursday, falling to 8-24 on the 2026 WNBA season after a 104-69 loss to Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream. Now, the Sun will look to bounce back on Saturday, hosting Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty. While it hasn't been the season many Connecticut fans were hoping for, Griner has still proven she has something left in the tank at the age of 35.
