UConn Hires Charlie Stevens As GM

UConn men's basketball hired Charlie Stevens as the program's general manager on Tuesday. Stevens was previously the director of grassroots scouting for the Spurs. Stevens replaces Tom Moore, who retired earlier this summer. UConn lost in the National Championship to Michigan last season.

Nick Pringle, Nets Sign Training Camp Deal

The Brooklyn Nets have signed big man Nick Pringle to a training camp contract. Pringle will be on a non-guaranteed deal that is likely set up for him to join the Long Island Nets of the G League after the preseason. Pringle's agency announced the deal on social media. The 6-foot-10 forward/center went undrafted out of Arkansas at the 2026 NBA Draft. Pringle averaged 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game as a senior for the Razorbacks.
