The WNBA world continues to reverberate from the hit that Caitlin Clark took from Alyssa Thomas exactly a month after it happened. On June 24, during a second-quarter battle for a loose ball, Thomas sneaked a fist on the throat of the Indiana Fever superstar, a play which the Phoenix Mercury forward would later call unintentional.
Indiana head coach Stephanie White has nothing but high praise for the superstar Caitlin Clark, especially after another incredible performance. On Wednesday, Indiana extended their win streak to three games after they defeated the Connecticut Sun, 123-88, thanks to the 27 points and 11 assists double-double from Clark. White was asked about her thoughts on Clark’s efficient output on the offensive end during the postgame media availability, and she gave the due credit to the WNBA superstar.
